Location and access
Donovaly, one of the most beautiful resorts in Slovakia, provides excellent conditions for sports and recreation in summer and winter. The village is situated at an altitude of 980 meters, on the ridge between Low Tatras and Big Fatra. Directly through the center goes the international road E77 between Banska Bystrica and Ruzomberok. The cottage is accessible by car all year round and is located right in the heart of Donovaly (5 minutes walking from the center and 7 minutes from the nearest ski lift). In summer it is a very good starting point for hiking and cycling.
Equipment and services
The cottage offers two maisonette apartments with separate entrances. Each apartment (60m2 and 67m2) is suitable for 5 persons (full bed). • On the ground floor of each apartment there is kitchen: kitchen equipment, electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer, electric kettle. Living room with dining table, sofa, TV. Bathroom with shower and WC. Glass-covered veranda with seating. • In the attic of each apartment there are 2 bedrooms: bedroom for 3 persons and bedroom for 2 persons. Electric heating, biler. Parking by the cottage, seating in front of the cottage, bench, seating by the cottage with barbecue, space for bikes and skis.

Recreation and services in surroundings
Position the resort and 980m altitude provides in the summer great starting conditionsfor hiking and biking and in winter excellent skiing (until late spring). There are 17 pistes - more than 11km groomed ski trails. The resort also offers snow park (best in Slovakia), an ice rink, several tens of km of groomed cross-country skiing trails, ski school, ski/snowboard/skate rentals. Number of hiking and biking trails in summer. The major attraction for children and adults in summer are traditional Habakuky - Dobsinskeho Fairy Village, monkey rope and bobsledge center, trampolines and mountain bikes track. All the year round you can enjoy other attractions and services such as wellness, swimming pool, bowling, paragliding and services - shop, many restaurants and cafeterias. You can also visit near thermal pools Besenova, cave Harmanecka jaskyna, village and open air museum Vlkolinec, valley Spania dolina or town Banska Bystrica.
